- $825,000 settlement for construction accident for 35-year old electrician who fell while working in a manlift that was not fully enclosed, and wrenched his shoulder when he grabbed onto the railing to prevent himself from falling out of the lift. As a result, he suffered a rotator cuff tear of the right shoulder which required surgery and aggravation of prior cervical (neck) injuries requiring surgery.
- $4 million settlement for catastrophic injuries in construction accident for 48-year old electrician who fell 40 feet through sheetrock that covered top of elevator shaftway and landed on top of the elevator car. He suffered severe internal injuries, including massive abdominal hemorrhage and ruptured pancreas, burst fracture of T-10 vertebra, and crush injuries of the right ankle and right hand; and he died 12 days later.
- $600,000 settlement for construction accident for elevator mechanic who was working on an elevator modernization project. In the course of performing his work, the elevator jack cylinder fell and caused our client to suffer crush injuries of both upper extremities, which required arthroscopic surgery for rotator cuff repair.
